Glaswegian Amy Macdonald is the latest gal with a guitar to be on the end of the usual lazy comparisons to the Katies Melua and Turnstall, so far be from us to break the trend. She's supported as Travis, fellow Scot Paolo Nutini and a sell-out tour with Thirteen Senses.
