Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
Electronic Arts, all major formats, £29.99-£34.99 - Out Now
Harry's back and bigger than ever as The Goblet of Fire once again sends cinema box offices into the throes of a money making ecstasy. Never one to miss out on a big name cash-in, Electronic Arts have put together a multi-format video game version of JK Rowling's latest book-turned-blockbuster to hit the shelves just as Harry struts his stuff on the big screen. As ever in the world of movie tie-ins, Potter's latest takes the form of an action adventure with a few basic puzzles thrown in for good measure. This time around, though, the Goblet of Fire is raised above previous Potter games by some exemplary production values and the inclusion of some rather satisfying team play to boot. Harry, Hermoine and Ron must work together to get the best results and all three must team up to move heavy objects or to cast spells to defeat certain enemies. Follow this up with the addition of a multiplayer element that allows your pals to jump in and out of the game at any time, and EA have put together a movie tie-in that comes very close to living up to its illustrious big screen brother.
